The School of Civil Engineering was established in the year 1986. It has grown steadily with its parent Institution and has turned out 22 batches of Civil Engineering graduates and 13 batches of Structural Engineering post graduates. More than half a dozen students are pursuing their PhD programme in the school. The school has 315 students on roll guided by 18 faculty members. The School has an outstanding track record and has consistently produced Civil Engineering graduates of exceptional quality and caliber. The school has a proud record of producing maximum University ranks. Our school has been recognized as Research Centre for Ph.D. work. Currently seven candidates have registered for their Ph.D.

In order to achieve the vision of sustainable infrastructure development, the school is involved in creating an ideal environment for learning, research, consultancy and extension activities, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application to tackle the shifting paradigms in civil engineering.
